The creator of Fairy Tail posted an interesting picture on his twitter.

Hiro Mashima posted a surprising picture on twitter. It’s a sketch of Natsu and Lucy with the dragon slayer trapping Lucy against a wall while also holding a chain that’s attached to a choker.

If you didn’t know this already there are a lot of Nalu shippers. And a lot of them were disappointed in Fairy Tail’s ending as Natsu and Lucy didn’t get together. I wonder if this satisfies them? I mean this is the creator of Fairy Tail posting this picture so it must mean something right?

I was fine with Fairy Tail ending as it stuck to its theme: Friendship. Even the last couple of arcs were extremely disappointing, I was fine with the ending. At least it didn’t end with a flash forward to the future where the characters have kids and all is well with their universe.

The idea of the team going on a quest that no-one has completed for 100 years is interesting. I wish we could have seen it.

You can check Hiro Mashima’s twitter here. It’s in Japanese by the way.

Hiro Mashima has also posted another picture of Fairy Tail Characters, Ichiya and Makarov. It’s pretty funny XD.

There’s also a new sketch of Lucy and Natsu. It’s beautiful looking. 🙂

New Death Note clip reveals Light and Ryuk’s meeting.

At San Diego’s Comic Con, Netflix shared a new clip of the movie which has shown Light and Ryuk meeting for the first time. I have to say, I like the clip but because of the way Willem Dafoe delivers his lines as Ryuk, it’s quite sinister and almost playful like he’s just there to toy with Light. The way Light acts in this trailer is realistic.

He slaps himself to convince himself that he’s dreaming. I’m glad he’s not dramatically screaming and shouting, for me that would have ruined the scene. Everyone has different ways of freaking out, not everyone screams and shouts. This Light might be okay. I don’t like that Light is writing bullies names in the Death Note, I mean bullies are awful but I would have prefered if it was some criminals instead.

So it looks like Ryuk will be encouraging Light to use the Death Note in this clip and Mia might be as well. Ryuk was neutral in the anime and that’s what made it great, You couldn’t tell what was going on Ryuk’s mind. He did things because they amused him. I’m hoping Ryuk won’t always be pushing Light to do things. I like how Ryuk is kind of kept in the dark in this clip, it makes the scene more creepy than it already is.

Everything I mentioned here isn’t a huge problem. I’m not a fangirl or anything, I just felt like pointing some things out. So long as the writing and acting is decent, I’m honestly not really bothered by the changes in this adaptation. That’s the most important thing here.

You can watch the trailer here.

Fairy Tail Anime will be airing it’s final season in 2018

Those of you who are Fairy Tail fans must be loving this news. Hiro Mashima has officially confirmed that the Fairy Tail anime will be coming back in 2018. He was even nice enough to tweet it out in Japanese and English.

Fairy Tail Zero which debuted in 2016, was the last we heard of the Fairy Tail Anime. The anime was a prequel to the current Fairy Tail anime which followed the mages, Fairy Tail’s founders. You know, all this Fairy Tail news I’ve typed about makes me want to watch the anime again. I’ll give it a chance, who knows maybe I might like it again.

One Piece is getting a Live-Action TV Adaptation

One Piece is being turned into a foreign TV Show. Not Japanese but foreign. The TV Show was announced as part of One Piece’s 20th Anniversary.  Tomorrow Studios are in charge of the project and Marty Adelstein is the executive producer. This news has been confirmed by Hiroyuki Nakano, the editor-in-chief of Weekly Shonen Jump.

I hope this will be a success. We all know that anime adaptations don’t do well over seas. If I does do well, then One Piece will be even more popular than before. This news is exciting, but I wonder if they will be able to get the characters right.

I kind of worry about how Nami will be portrayed, she’s a tsundere so I don’t think that will work well on-screen. I have a feeling that people will complain about Nami’s character. Since you know, she hits Luffy sometimes so you already know people will be upset about that. If their only going to film the East Blue Arc only then how will they show the crew’s backstories?

We’ll just have to wait for some more news to come out. I love One Piece so I don’t want it butchered. We don’t want another 4kids you know. XD
